Push to GitHub and Dockyrd builds with Railpack or your Dockerfile, health-checks the new container and only then switches traffic. Failed deploys never replace a working one.
Dockyrd is a lean, self-hosted alternative to Coolify. One Go binary turns a fresh VPS into a platform for Next.js apps, static sites, Postgres, Redis and S3 storage, with automatic HTTPS and zero-downtime deploys.
$ curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Joeydekruis/dockyrd/development/scripts/install.sh | sudo sh
Dockyrd covers the services most projects actually need, with one consistent screen for each. No feature wall, no plugin store.

Astro, Vite, Hugo or a Next.js export. No container needed: Caddy serves the build output from disk, and a rollback is an atomic symlink switch that takes milliseconds.
Postgres and Redis-compatible Valkey from official images, with generated credentials. Link them to an app with ${{db.DATABASE_URL}} and skip the copy-paste.
Install Garage with one click for an S3-compatible bucket next to your app. Access keys and endpoints are injected as variables, ready for uploads.
Live build and runtime logs, request rates, latency percentiles and status codes per site. Server CPU, memory, disk and network in the same place. No cookies, no IP storage.
Owner, admin, member and viewer roles from day one. Invites, TOTP two-factor, session management, optional GitHub sign-in and a full audit log.
The control plane and the data plane are separate. Caddy, your apps and your databases keep running while Dockyrd updates, crashes or restarts.

Coolify and Dokploy are great projects that proved the model. Dockyrd keeps their mental model and cuts the platform itself down to one process and a proxy.
| Dockyrd | Coolify v4 | Dokploy | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Control plane | One Go binary + SQLite | Laravel, Postgres, Redis, soketi | Next.js, Postgres, Redis |
| Proxy | Caddy via admin API | Traefik (default) or Caddy | Traefik |
| Orchestration | Plain Docker Engine with labels | Docker over SSH, also to its own host | Docker Swarm |

Every container Dockyrd creates carries labels, so Docker itself is the source of truth for what is running. SQLite holds what should be running.
TLS via ACME, routes to apps, serves static sites from disk, writes JSON access logs for analytics.
API, scheduler, builds, reconciler, metrics, updater and the embedded dashboard. Talks to the local Docker socket.
Apps, Postgres, Valkey and Garage, each project on its own isolated network. BuildKit runs builds with cache.
These are the budgets every release is measured against before it ships.
Dockyrd is built in the open. Star the repo to follow along, open an issue, or read the docs and try a preview build on a spare VPS.
